There is a real company in the Philippines named "J&T Express". These scammers are illegally representing themselves as this real company. Therefore, I do not believe this real company (https://www.jtexpress.ph/index/about/introduction.html) has any knowledge or involvement with the scammers. This can be another matter for the local authorities to investigate as I am sure the SEC in Manila would never allow two official businesses to have the same or similar name.

Here is where the second part of the Scam starts by using (what I now consider to be the same group of scammers) these tactics:
Notice that now there is no longer a unit at the store in Manila, they are claiming to have a direct import from Malaysia because the unit to be delivered was damaged.
Suddenly, this fake "J&T Express" are international shipping agents and produce an "On Receipt" that is not tied to any Philippine business nor does it show any BIR number, Corporate Number or Customs clearance or stamps.
When this scam starts to expand and I question this practice, J&T Express responds as follows:
Now the scam continues with a shift to have the buyer pay for insurance.. If no damage upon delivery, the P3K is refunded. But if damaged, the P3K is kept. The scammers want the buyer to pay for delivery insurance possibly as a ploy to never deliver any unit undamaged, if ever.
Next…. The very hard working persons loading up a truck at Manila Customs but just waiting to get my payment to clear….
We are loading our van for delivery and just need your additional P3K for insurance for safe delivery…
