After at least 4 different scammers have tried to sell items off the Lazada platform (and numerous calls and text to Lazada), it is my plan to expose how these scammers are allowed (apparently by Lazada) to continue with intentional scams as "legit Lazada sellers"

Lazada requires each seller to make available COD orders to shoppers . The following actual exchanges and related account details are from the latest scam attempt (by the seller identified this week as, (DONS Ltd):
After being ordered COD, the scam seller has the message generated claiming to "not much be on here on SHOPPEE but you can contact me on…"
Lazada has declared each time that this is against their policy and the sellers that do this are scammers!

This seller (DONS LTD) ignores the COD option in Lazada and demands 50% cash on delivery.

Here we see the 50% down payment slips in…….

Now we see that the seller's promo prevents the Lazada allowed COD…..and the courier must confirm the payment sent to the seller???
Note: The item sold was from a Lazada seller to a Lazada customer but suddenly there is a third party "Courier" that has taken the 50% down. The scam will continue with the seller declaring that the Courier fees are separate and between you and that courier.

The scamming seller reconfirms that your order is rejected because you would not pay out of the Lazada platform!

Observations/Conclusions…..
1. This seller has a 75% failure to ship rating that is part of the history presented from within the Lazada database.
2. This means Lazada is already aware of this seller's refusal to ship items when ordered.
3. By offering large items for sale that come under the Lazada COD policy, this sellers avoid making a shipment at the advertised lower prices by simply not shipping the item and cancelling the order when the buyer refuses to pay off-platform from the Lazada system.
4. These sellers ad to this scam by identifying a courier receiving the 50% deposit but fail to disclose these extra fees as part of the Lazada listed costs.
2. This means Lazada is already aware of this seller's refusal to ship items when ordered.
3. By offering large items for sale that come under the Lazada COD policy, this sellers avoid making a shipment at the advertised lower prices by simply not shipping the item and cancelling the order when the buyer refuses to pay off-platform from the Lazada system.
4. These sellers ad to this scam by identifying a courier receiving the 50% deposit but fail to disclose these extra fees as part of the Lazada listed costs.
So, what is Lazada doing about this?
Informing me that they take this seriously, are investigating this and are not able to control when an order is canceled. These same sellers, with the exact same photos, just become new Lazada sellers with different shop names and the scams just grow!!
I have brought all of this to the attention of Lazada with very little objective changes noted. Therefore, it has only been possible to come to the conclusion that Lazada is either incapable/unable or unwilling to stop scammers listed as seller on Lazada here in 2021.
